Starting tomorrow, Royal Mail staff are striking for six days before Christmas.
The strikes will cause disruption and delays for anyone using Royal Mail’s services.

The planned strike days are 

9 December
11 December
14 December
15 December
23 December
24 December

    We will continue to pack and post orders as usual until the 22nd, however delivery timings are out of our control, so we encourage placing orders early to avoid disappointment. 

    We are able to organise DHL deliveries until 21st at additional charges (based on the size of the package) or can create digital gift cards as a back-up in case of delays, just contact at us at if you need help. 

    As you can imagine, this is a difficult time for small businesses, and the last thing we want to do is let our community down: we apologise in advance for any disruption to your deliveries.

    Royal Mail has notified users on their website that the postal service continues to operate, however with delays, which can be significant. Each country might have its own restrictions. Please see the link below for information and familiarise yourself with it.

    We use a fully tracked service for international orders, and signed for for UK orders, and you can keep monitoring progress of your order through the link sent out with your shipping confirmation email.


    Mayamiko offers world-wide delivery by tracked / signed postal service via Royal Mail and its network of international partners. 

    Mayamiko offers Free UK Delivery on all orders over £95 by tracked postal service.

    For orders under £95 or orders outside the UK we offer the following flat rate fees, for delivery by tracked or tracked and signed postal service: 

    UK - £3.95 

    Europe - £12.00

    Rest of the World - £ 14.00

    If you would like your items faster, please contact us to arrange delivery by DHL (extra fee).

    We will dispatch your stock items within 3 to 5 working days by Royal Mail tracked/signed for service, whichever is the fastest and safest available for your country.

    A confirmation notice with order tracking is sent out automatically once the order has been dispatched. Please mark '' as a safe sender to ensure you receive notifications from us. You are responsible to check that the delivery address is complete and correct. 

    Made to order items are created on demand especially for you in our workshop or with our partners in Malawi, Sri Lanka and Italy and take on average 2 to 3 weeks before shipping. Once size and colours have been confirmed, we will provide a more accurate shipping date estimate.

    Signed for delivery only tracks parcels up until the point that they leave the UK. Further tracking may be available on the national postal website. If you would like a fully tracked service for Europe and the rest of the World please contact us on for further information and prices.

    Please note that postal services have different rules in different countries, and we are subject to those. Should you miss your delivery and fail to pick up your parcel within the timeframe set by your local postal service, and should the package be destroyed, lost or returned to us, Mayamiko is not liable for the loss of the products or any additional costs incurred.

    You are responsible to ensure the delivery address you use is valid and complete. Should you provide an incorrect or incomplete address resulting in delays or loss, there is no liability on Mayamiko for delays or losses.

    Should a package be returned to us because you failed to collect it within the timeframe set by the local postal service, upon satisfactory inspection you will be able to request that it is sent you again by paying for the new postage, or to request a store credit. In the UK, Royal Mail will keep a package for 18 days from the first attempt of delivery, and it is your responsibility to collect it within the given timeframe. Please note that we operate from a shared warehouse, so if products are returned to us from the postal service with no notice, there is no guarantee that we will be able to locate the packages. We will of course do our best to help you out! 

    All prices are in pound sterling. If you are paying with a non-UK credit or debit card, please check with your card issuer for conversion rates and any charges you may incur on foreign currency. Refunds will be issued in pound sterling, but please be aware that conversion rates may differ from the time of the original transaction.

    For orders outside the UK duties and taxes may be charged once the parcel has reached its destination country and the recipient will be liable for these costs. You can check duties and taxes with your local customs office. 

    For orders outside the UK your parcel could be subject to custom delays.
