A range of basics with a twist. Made in reclaimed double 100% cotton jersey (dead stock), this capsule fuses the comfort of classic basic pieces with contemporary aesthetic. Crafted in our fair trade workshop in Malawi, designed for maximum fabric usage, and produced following our zero waste principles, this range embodies the Mayamiko values to the core.
Radical Transparency: these pieces are a little rough around the edges. This is because we had to perform some small miracles to salvage the fabric, and also because our machines are not specialist jersey machines. As a result the stitching on the inside is a little wobbly at times. But we really wanted to make something great with the fabric, so there you have it. The prices for this collection reflect the imperfections. Please bear it in mind when shopping.
