Mayamiko is working to bring a homeware and accessories range to the market, complementing our existing clothing collections.
Think tablescapes made for joy, bathrooms and bedrooms that transport you to far-away places through storied and elevated pieces rooted in our non-negotiable ethical and sustainability values, sourced from artisans around the world.
We are looking for Creative Director to lead a fixed term project, we estimate it will take 6-8 working days over the a period of 4-8 weeks (we can be flexible and work around availability for the right candidate)
This role would suit a free lance creative director with experience in homeware and accessories.
Tasks include:
- Lead the development and delivery of our pilot homeware and accessory range, landing in November 2022.
- Work with suppliers to define a product range based on market research and trends: agree product design and mix, colour palette, opening quantities, delivery timelines.
- Photoshoot direction - through mood-boards, research and in consultation with the photographer
- Input into the creative marketing launch for the range to line up with the gifting season.
Note: the role doesn't require you to be an accessories designer, however some design experience would be helpful.
Location: We are London based but the role can be done fully remotely, we welcome applications from diverse locations.
